In the afternoon of August 1st, TNPJVC took the opportunity of 89th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army to visit over 120 veterans more than 60 years old in five local administrative villages, including Tonggu, Caochong, Pangbo, Beimen and Dutou villages. Daily necessities were given to the veterans with greetings for the anniversary.

Veteran Yuan Guan, used to serve in a mountainous area of Hunan province, was in charge of fuel supply to the planes. He recalled that he felt dizzy every time after he fuelled up the tank because the fuel contained heavy pungent smell. Although the service life was tough, it would make a difference to one’s life. He was content with the life he had now and appreciated the care and concern from TNPJVC to the veterans.

The series of activities of “Good Neighbors” organized by TNPJVC will be continued as planned such as periodical visits and invitation the seniors to TSNP site.
