Around the “Birthday” (July 1st-- anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China) of the Party, several batches of representatives from government and people from local communities visited TSNP. On June 29th, Xie Boxin, Vice Chairman of CPPCC (the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) Jiangmen visited TSNP with a delegation of 45 people; On July 1st, Ma Yongzhi, Party branch secretary and President of Taishan In-service Training School visited TSNP with a delegation of 11 people; On July 1st, 45 senior Party members of Caochong village, Chixi town visited TSNP; On July 2nd, Chen Jianrong, Party branch secretary and President of Taishan Peiyiing Vocational Technical School visited TSNP with a delegation of 70 people; On July 2nd, Li Chaoxiong, Deputy Director of Land and Resources Bureau led alumni association of Taishan Overseas Chinese Middle school to visit TSNP with a delegation of 100 people. All visitors solved their confusion in the visit and hoped TNPJVC would be put into operation soon and continue to be good neighbor with the local communities.

Lian Qingchun, a senior Party member of Yaogu village said every year he came back “home”, the place where used to be their village now stands the NI of TSNP phase I. He was happy to see that his “home” had developed into a huge project and played an important role in facilitating the economic and social development of local communities. Among the visitors, those who participated in land acquisition of TSNP in the early stage said they used to work hard for Taishan project, and now still care about everything about TSNP. For them, it was such an honor to witness the development of TSNP. They hoped that TSNP could be put into service soon so as to benefit the local people.

From early June to early July, with the support of the local government and organizations of TNPJVC, 19 batches of over 600 people have visited TSNP to learn project progress and safety technical knowledge of nuclear power plant.
