In the midst of summer, when all things are flourishing, from May 30th to 31st, on the occasion of the ninth National Science and Technology Workers Day, CGN's "Nuclear-Powered Future" Clean Energy Science Popularization held its eighth stop at Wanda Plaza in Taishan City. This event provided a unique and lively science popularization feast for the public just before the Dragon Boat Festival.
At the launch ceremony, five experts from TSNP, including Guo Feng and Wang Peng, were appointed as science vice-principals in five schools, including Guangzhou University Taishan Affiliated Middle School. In the future, they will use their practical experience from the front lines to ignite students' interest in science and technology, making the stories behind major national projects a lively part of classroom teaching materials.

Later, TNPJVC issued the certificate of "Little Nuclear Power Science Popularizer" to 9 local primary and secondary school students, who are not only the audience of science popularization, but also the main role of spreading scientific knowledge.
To fully leverage the power of Youth League volunteers, TNPJVC launched the program of "Torchbearer Volunteer" nuclear science popularization into schools in 2025. 21 Youth League volunteers from TNPJVC will engage in a series of science popularization volunteer actions tailored to meet the needs of relevant schools.
Huang Guopan, the Deputy director of the Education Bureau and member of the Party Leadership Group, and Zhao Hongyi, the Director of the Office and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Science and Technology Association presented the flag of the "TSNP Torchbearer Volunteer Science Popularization Vanguard Team" to the representatives of the TSNP volunteers.

Finally, representatives from the Education Bureau, Science and Technology Association, Taicheng Subdistrict Office, TNPJVC, and Wanda Plaza jointly activated an energy cube, officially launching the CGN "Nuclear-Powered Future" Clean Energy Science Popularization.
In the next two days, 11 pieces of exhibition equipment, such as nuclear power constructor, game of site selection, atomic exploration office and rotating power station, attracted a large number of public watching and experiencing. Everyone felt the fascination of clean energy in various interesting experiments.
A team of nine student volunteers, serving as junior nuclear science popularizers, provided explanations to the public in front of the exhibition displays. Zhen Leyou, a science popularizer from Taicheng No.1 Primary School, excitedly said that “In order to be a good science popularizer, my friends and I have learned a lot of nuclear power knowledge in advance. Now we not only understand it, but also share it with everyone. We have a sense of achievement!”
For more than ten years, TSNP has adhered to the working concept of “openness and transparency, and sincere communication”, carried out the “good neighbor” project of nuclear science popularization, established the science popularization mechanism of “government-enterprise-school” tripartite cooperation by working closely with Taishan Association for Science and Technology and Taishan Education Bureau, so as to create a variety of nuclear science popularization projects. Under the organization of Taishan Association for Science and Technology and Taishan Education Bureau, TSNP has served as the organizer and co-hosted Taishan City’s Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition for seven consecutive years. As a national level popular science education base, Taishan nuclear power plant has become a hot research site in the region every winter and summer vacation. A batch of students enjoy the ocean of science and technology at the nuclear power site. As a national-level science education site, TSNP is a popular local field study destination during winter and summer vacations. Waves of students immerse themselves in the ocean of technology at the nuclear power plant site. Jointly developed by TSNP with municipal science and education authorities, the textbook Nuclear Science for You has been adopted by 21 local schools as part of their curriculum. Through the ripple effect of “one child affects one family”, it is enhancing public trust in nuclear energy as a reliable power source. In 2025, TSNP’s “good neighbor” project of nuclear science popularization was rated as an advanced model of science and technology voluntary service by China Association for Science and Technology.
