On June 23rd, 24 postgraduates from China-France Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology (IFCEN) of Sun Yat-sen University (including 22 Chinese students and 2 French international students) visited TSNP again, successfully completing a five-day practical training on a compulsory course— “Operation and Safety of Nuclear Power Plants”.

Based on the experience gained from the first session, TSNP has carefully optimized this year’s course, closely focusing on students’ knowledge background and training objectives, and developed a high-quality and immersive simulator training program.

The hosting of the second session of the “Operation and Safety of Nuclear Power Plants” course is a vivid reflection of the ongoing deepening and implementation of the talent cultivation cooperation agreement on “engineer education” between CGN and Sun Yat-sen University. This signifies that the industry-academia-research integration mechanism established by both parties under the principle of “complementary advantages, collaborative innovation, and mutual development” is functioning effectively, providing a stable and efficient platform for training outstanding nuclear energy engineers with a global perspective.
