Between April 15th and 16th, on the occasion of the ninth “National Security Education Day”, TNPJVC went to Chixi Town Middle School, Chixi Town Central Primary School, and Chixi Zhou Youfu Primary School, where instructors from the Training Department, Operation Department and Contract and Purchase Department gave an engaging science lesson to students.

Before introducing nuclear power knowledge, the instructors kicked off with a hands-on experiment—using prepared “wind turbine” model kits. They guided students in assembling the models to understand the principles of wind power generation.

Following the experiment, the instructors started with the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy and, using the booklet Nuclear Science for You, pictures and videos, introduced the power generation methods, the principles of nuclear power generation, and the safety of nuclear power plants to students.

A teacher from Chixi Town Central Primary School said that the lesson achieved good results. “The activity of Science Popularization in Schools was exceptionally well-designed and comprehensive, broadening students’ knowledge and horizons. We truly applaud your efforts!”
