On June 8, little reporters from Jiangmen Daily Green Apple Newspaper walked into TSNP with curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and started to explore the fun of nuclear power.

As soon as entering the science popularization exhibition hall, the little reporters immediately took out the interview books and pens, listened to the interpretation and recorded the knowledge of nuclear power. From the history of China’s nuclear power development, to the history of TNPJVC development and nuclear safety... the presenter interpreted vividly, and the little reporters were fully engaged in listening and took notes. After the interpretation, a small Q&A session was held in the exhibition hall. The little reporters raised questions one by one, and the presenter offered thorough answers. The atmosphere was lively.

After an immersive initial experience of science popularization, little reporters have become more interested in nuclear power. Later, Mr. Zhu Wanchao from Chemistry and Environmental Protection Department and Mr. Xu Yu from the Safety Protection Department delivered courses on environmental monitoring and radiation protection, so that little reporters could truly feel the safety of nuclear power.

After the lecture, the little reporters visited the nuclear reactor building up close. They said that this visit made their knowledge more tangible. Parents also said that both their children and themselves have learned a lot and gained an insight into nuclear power.
